Candida Immune Complex

$316.99

Candida Immune Complexes which form in vivo are comprised of Candida Albicans antigen, anti-Candida IgG antibodies, and complement. The presence of these complexes is an indication of overgrowth of C. albicans in the gut. Candida overgrowth was first described by Brabander and associates in 1957. Diagnosis of the condition has been difficult due to the ubiquitous nature of Candida resulting in the existence of antibodies to it in a large percentage of the normal population. It is also difficult to isolate by culture from stool due to the overgrowth by normal intestinal flora. Symptoms of Candida intestinal overgrowth include bloating, itching, and skin rashes. Lehman and Reiss suggested that the presence of immune complexes to Candida is an objective means of diagnosing the condition. The results of Broughton and Lanson concluded that the marker for Candida immune complexes not only aid in diagnosing intestinal overgrowth, but that levels of complexes decrease during successful treatment.

Biomarkers
  • Carbon Dioxide Reflects the bicarbonate level in your blood, a key part of your body's acid-base balance. Abnormal levels can point to metabolic or respiratory issues.

Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA)

$9.99

CEA (Carcinoembryonic Antigen) is a protein that may be present at higher levels in the blood of individuals with certain types of cancer, particularly colorectal cancer. It is mainly used to monitor cancer treatment effectiveness and detect recurrence. Elevated levels can also be seen in other cancers (like lung or breast) and some non-cancerous conditions such as inflammation or smoking.

Cardio IQ Advanced Lipid Panel with Inflammation

$166.49

Advanced Lipid Panel with Inflammation, Cardio IQยฎ This test goes beyond the standard lipid panel to provide a more comprehensive assessment of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. According to the 2013 ACC/AHA guidelines, it's important to match statin treatment intensity with the absolute risk of cardiovascular events. This test includes advanced CVD markers like ion mobility, ApoB, lp(a), hsCRP, and Lp-PLA2, offering a clearer picture of your CVD risk.

Biomarkers
  • Apolipoprotein B The main protein found on LDL and other 'bad' cholesterol particles. Considered a strong indicator of cardiovascular risk, since each particle carries one ApoB molecule.
  • Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) Cholesterol The 'bad' cholesterol that can build up in artery walls. A core marker used to assess cardiovascular disease risk.
  • LDL Size Measures the average size of your LDL ('bad' cholesterol) particles; smaller, denser particles are considered more likely to contribute to artery plaque.
  • Lipoprotein(a) A genetically-determined, LDL-like particle. Elevated levels are an independent, largely inherited risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
  • Total Cholesterol The combined measure of all cholesterol in your blood โ€” HDL, LDL, and other lipoproteins together. A foundational marker of cardiovascular risk.
  • Triglycerides A type of fat in your blood used for energy storage. Elevated levels are linked to increased cardiovascular risk and often reflect diet, weight, or metabolic health.
  • HDL Cholesterol The 'good' cholesterol that helps remove excess cholesterol from your bloodstream. Higher levels are generally linked to lower cardiovascular risk.
  • HDL Large
  • hsCRP
  • LDL Medium
  • LDL Particle Number
  • LDL Pattern
  • LDL Small
  • Lp-PLA2
  • Non-HDL Cholesterol Total cholesterol minus HDL โ€” capturing all the potentially artery-clogging ('bad') cholesterol particles in one number.
  • Total Cholesterol / HDL Ratio Compares your total cholesterol to your HDL ('good') cholesterol, offering a quick snapshot of cardiovascular risk balance.

Cardio IQ Apolipoprotein A-1

$21.99

Apolipoprotein A1 is the primary protein associated with HDL cholesterol. Like HDL cholesterol, increased concentrations are associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular disease.

Biomarkers
  • Apolipoprotein A-1 The main protein component of HDL ('good') cholesterol. Higher levels are generally associated with better cardiovascular protection.

Cardio IQ Apolipoprotein B

$21.99

This test measures the level of Apolipoprotein B (APO B) in your blood, which is a strong indicator of coronary artery disease (CAD). It's particularly useful because APO B levels can be elevated even when LDL cholesterol levels are normal, helping to identify risk in patients who might otherwise be considered low-risk based on cholesterol alone.

Cardio IQ Apolipoprotein Evaluation

$38.49

Apolipoprotein A1 is the primary protein associated with HDL cholesterol. Like HDL cholesterol, increased concentrations are associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. Apolipoprotein B-100 is the primary protein associated with LDL cholesterol and other lipid particles. Like LDL cholesterol, increased concentrations are associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease. The ratio of these two apolipoproteins correlates with risk of cardiovascular disease.

Cardio IQ Cholesterol, Total

$3.49

This test measures the total amount of cholesterol in the blood. It's an important test for diagnosing conditions like hyperlipoproteinemia (high levels of fats in the blood), atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in the arteries), liver diseases, and thyroid disorders. Knowing your total cholesterol level is a key step in understanding your heart health.

Cardio IQ Diabetes Risk Panel with Score

$25.49

To assist with control of blood glucose levels, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) has recommended glycated hemoglobin testing (HbA1c) twice a year for patients with stable glycemia, and quarterly for patients with poor glucose control. Interpretative ranges are based on ADA guidelines.

Biomarkers
  • Glucose Your blood sugar level at the time of the test โ€” a core marker for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes and metabolic health.
  • Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Reflects your average blood sugar over the past 2-3 months, based on how much sugar has attached to your hemoglobin. Key marker for diabetes diagnosis and monitoring.
  • 8-year Diabetes Risk
  • HDL Cholesterol The 'good' cholesterol that helps remove excess cholesterol from your bloodstream. Higher levels are generally linked to lower cardiovascular risk.

  • Total Cholesterol / HDL Ratio Compares your total cholesterol to your HDL ('good') cholesterol, offering a quick snapshot of cardiovascular risk balance.

Cardio IQ Direct LDL

$12.99

This test measures LDL Cholesterol, often called the "bad" cholesterol, because high levels can lead to heart disease. The results are interpreted using the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) guidelines to help understand your risk.

Cardio IQ HDL Cholesterol

$3.49

This test measures the levels of HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol, often referred to as 'good' cholesterol. HDL cholesterol is known for its protective role against heart disease. Higher levels of HDL are associated with a lower risk of cardiovascular disease. Lifestyle factors such as regular exercise, moderate alcohol consumption, and oral estrogen therapy can increase HDL levels. Conversely, obesity, stress, smoking, and diabetes mellitus are linked to lower HDL levels.
