Description
This test combines two important assessments, the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and the urine albumin-creatinine ratio (ACR), to help in the early detection of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). It aligns with the National Kidney Foundation's efforts to encourage the use of this profile for early CKD detection. Surprisingly, a study by NHANES (CDC) found that only a small percentage of individuals with reduced kidney function were aware of their condition. This test aims to increase awareness and early diagnosis of CKD.
