Description

This test measures 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (calcitriol), the active form of Vitamin D in the body. It is used to aid in the diagnosis of primary hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, pseudohypoparathyroidism, renal osteodystrophy, and vitamin D-resistant rickets.
