Description

This is one of the individual protein bands checked on a Lyme disease confirmatory Western blot (immunoblot) test, IgM class, contributing to the standard criteria used to interpret the overall IgM Western blot result. As with the other IgM bands, a positive result is more suggestive of a recent infection than a positive IgG band would be.
