Description

This is one of the individual protein bands checked on a Lyme disease confirmatory Western blot (immunoblot) test, IgG class. It's one of several specific bands included in the standard scoring criteria used to determine whether an overall IgG Western blot result counts as positive, and — like the other IgG bands — a positive result reflects an established, longer-standing immune response.
