Lyme IgG Band 28 details

Description

This is one of the individual protein bands checked on a Lyme disease confirmatory Western blot (immunoblot) test, IgG class, used together with the other IgG bands to determine whether the overall confirmatory test meets criteria for a positive result. As with the related IgG bands, a positive result here reflects an established immune response and, once positive, can remain so for a long time even after treatment.
