Large HDL-P details

Description

This measures the number of large HDL particles in your blood, part of an advanced, particle-based lipid panel. Large HDL particles are generally considered especially effective at collecting excess cholesterol from your arteries and tissues and transporting it back to the liver for disposal, so a higher number of large HDL particles is generally viewed favorably for cardiovascular health. It's typically interpreted alongside total HDL particle number, HDL size, and standard cholesterol values for a fuller cardiovascular risk picture.
