Description
Estimated average glucose (eAG) takes your HbA1c result and converts it into the same units (mg/dL or mmol/L) you'd see on a daily glucose meter reading, making your longer-term blood sugar control easier to relate to day-to-day numbers. It doesn't provide any new information beyond HbA1c itself — it's simply a different, more intuitive way of expressing the same three-month average blood sugar picture, often included alongside HbA1c results to help make sense of the percentage value.
