Description
This measures the percentage of your lymphocytes that are CD8 'cytotoxic' T-cells, used alongside the absolute CD8 count to assess immune function. It's typically interpreted together with CD4 percentages and the CD4/CD8 ratio to build a fuller picture of immune balance, most commonly in the context of HIV monitoring or other conditions where immune cell subsets are being tracked over time.
